Our store runs on Shopify, and normally, Shopify allows you to check out in your local currency. But because we sell high-quality plant and mushroom extracts, one of our products is classified as a “restricted supplement.”
This restriction means we’re not allowed to use Shopify Payments—which is the only way Shopify lets us offer local currency checkout.
This happens to many brands that are open about lab testing, clinical research, and therapeutic use. We’ve chosen to be transparent—and we’re proud of that, even if it comes with trade-offs.
Why We Don’t Just Remove the Product
Here’s the truth: it would be easy to remove that one product. If we did, local checkout would come back, more payment options would be available, and this issue would go away.
But we won’t. Because this product is why Antioxi exists. It was created to support a family member with cancer. It’s also the product that has helped countless others through their recovery and healing journeys.
So yes, we’ve chosen the harder path—but for us, this product is non-negotiable.
