When it comes to poria cocos mushroom tinctures, there are two very different approaches used across the industry - and the difference matters.

Method 1: Re-diluted extract tinctures (the most common approach). This is how the majority of poria cocos mushroom tinctures on the market are made.

In this method, a company:

1) Purchases a finished poria cocos mushroom extract powder
2) Mixes that powder with a liquid base (often alcohol and water)
3) Filters or strains the mixture
4) Sells the resulting liquid as a “tincture”

4) This liquid extract is blended into the final tincture format, with the appropriate liquid base

In other words, the tincture is built from the extraction itself, not recreated afterwards.

This approach maintains the integrity of the extracted compounds and results in a tincture that is true to its purpose - a liquid format designed to preserve what was extracted, not dilute it.
